well, my husband did it...he surprised me with an amazing valentines day surprise! i was so flattered...after all these years...we've been married almost 28 years and been together since i was 15 yearls old and he was 17 years old...33 years in all...in the early years he would bring me a bouquet of carnations and take me to dinner...then when we were both working and married, we upgraded to roses and a nice dinner out, with a bottle of champagne...then when the kids came, it turned into a bouquet of roses and a nice dinner at home with the kids...but this was the topper...
he made reservations at the blue lantern inn in dana point and then dinner at the chart house {our favorite!}...what a treat...we had wine and pupus in the lobby in the late afternoon, over a competitive backgammon game, then off to our room to enjoy the amazing view from our balcony of the water! we had to dress warm and cuddle up in a blanket, but it was worth it!
then, dinner, a movie in our room and wow! i'm still reeling with the surprise...
you see, that's always been an issue with us...i'm a planner and he is so last minute and he pulled it off at the last minute! he proved me wrong...
it's great to be in a marriage for so long and still be in love!

Awww....he's such a great guy. I knew it the minute I met him the day you visited! Hey, any guy gets an A+ in my book if he goes junking with his wife! hahaha...
