i've been out of touch since the beginning of december and i'm getting back into the groove... we've had a hard december and january, but now the sun is shining!
my husband's step mom suddenly died at the beginning of december and steve {my husband} and his brothers all pulled together and drove to arizona for the funeral. we had made plans for his dad to come to cali for the holidays, but the excuses started and we all went on with our plans. unfortunately, he decided to try and end his life by drinking ALOT...thankfully, he was found in time and the lord saved his life and kept him here on earth for a while longer...but, the first week was very touchy...scary, emotional and very hard on everyone. it was especially hard on my husband and our sister n law, cheryl who immediately flew back and tended to the ugly situation...my husband's character really shined through...he is caring, loving and most of all forgiving! and, cheryl was amazing...she truly has a gift of taking care of others...she is was there the whole time...being encouraging and loving. they came back emotionally drained and exhausted. steve's brother and his wife took over for another week and then steve went back and followed up with another week. his other brother, dave is there now and thankfully, he is bringing him home to cali for some rest, relaxation and rejuvination...all thanks goes to god!
i really saw a different side to this family...loving, kind, caring and pulling together to get the job done...
but the point to this very long story is that i'm back! back to work and back to painting and back to creating...so check out the booth in the next week/two and christilynn, janice and i will be at the irvine flea market on sunday, february 1st {super bowl sunday} so ladies, leave the boys at home to watch all the pre shows for the big game and come out and shop awhile...we have some super cute treasures for you...
