good times...

steve and i took some time away from our busy work and home lives and escapped for a week...

went up north to the alameda flea and worked our way back down the coast to home...

along the way we junked, shopped, ate, fished, walked, did some beachcombing, rode our cruisers, watched old movies, did some wine tasting, went into the city of san francisco and checked out the three speckled hens show in paso robles...and relaxed...

we had a great time and after 31 years of marriage you have to take some time to reacquaint...

cherish the journey...

steve has been wanting to fish off this old pier in san simeon for twenty years...it was a bucket list moment...he fished and i beachcombed...

our fav in pismo...

 

we just happened to find a road that took us up a long windy road in pismo...it was so gorgeous...some great beaches and hikes...we will definately be going back soon...

beach riding...

my husband surprised me yesterday...he asked if i wanted to head down to the beach with our cruisers and go for a ride...

we've both been busy working, working, working...

so, it was nice to get away...

ride our bikes along the sand, across the ferry, do a lil shopping and sit and watch the boats go by...

we used to go to balboa a lot...it was a frequent date when we were in high school to go down, ride the ferry, ride the ferris wheel and play skeeball...

i love him so very much...thanks steve...

 

vet's flea...

it was another great day at the vet's flea this past sunday...

people came by and expressed their congrats on being the vendor of the month...

we did not have as many customers as i'm sure the heat scared them away...

we had a lovely marine layer in the morning and it really did not get that hot...it was quite pleasant...

we sold a lot and had a great time!

sold this cute lil dresser to a woman that just moved to the beach...she was so happy with the pieces she foun

i love these chairs...they are from the 50's...super cool vintage silk fabric...the best color ever...sold these first thing...
