our booth at country roads...

treasures, treasures, treasures...come and visit us at country roads in old towne orange...

vets flea market...

you know how sometimes you sell at flea markets and you really don't like the display you set up and struggle with it all day and then sometimes you set up your booth and just fall in love with your display and the treasures you are selling...
well, sunday at vets was one of those days...i loved the treasures that i was selling {maybe cause some of them were some of my favs from my home} and i loved the display...thanks rose for the table!
it was also great to meet the ladies from "not too shabby" phoenix...i hope to see them again real soon and visiting their shop the next time we're out their way...
other than the loud music from the booth next to ours, rose and i had a great day selling, fluffing and getting to know each other better...it was a pleasure.
and, we got our vehicles loaded up just before the rain hit...thank you lord!
thought i would share some of our treasures with you...

vets flea market yesterday...rainy day today...

i finally did it! i sold at vets flea market again yesterday, and it was great to be back! boy, am a tired...it was a great day...it was sold out and there were a lot of buyers...rose and i got spots side/side and we were busy and on our feet all day...we really did not do any shopping...steve was very sweet and came and helped us set up, did some shopping himself {he bought a HUGE vintage painting for our bedroom} and left...
i toyed with getting a part time job to help pay for our son's sports which cost an arm/leg, on top of being a mom that carpools a bunch of teenage boys to/fro high school, football and when they get an urge for orange chicken {i just returned from taking them to panda express} and a wife/mom that does ALL the housework and ALL the laundry...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! but, i decided to take on another flea market...now, i'll be selling at ivc flea market the first sunday of each month, vets flea market the third sunday of the month and at country roads...may the shopping begin!!!
it's been a frustrating day...the rain was non stop here in rancho today and i had a house full of teenage boys, which is not a bad thing, unless your very own pride and joy is grouchy!!!
okay, okay, okay...i'm ranting and raving, but it's been a while since i've blogged and my fingers can't stop!
hope all of you had a great day and i look forward to seeing you at the flea markets...

merry christmas to all...

well, it's been awhile since i've blogged...it's been a hard past month or so...we've all been sick...one of us gets well and another gets sick...yikes!
this morning my computer died AGAIN and my husband went out and bought me a new laptop...yeah! although i hate spending the money, i love having a computer that works and i've always had a desk top and i'm loving sitting in my bed and typing this right now...
thanks stevie!
i hope all of you are enjoying the christmas frenzy...take the time to enjoy this special time of year and spending time with your family...
i'm really looking forward to christmas morning...although my daughter is 25 and my son is 14, christmas morning is still the best and they get up early looking forward to opening presents...i love giving and i tend to get carried away when it comes to my husband and kids, but i love the look on their faces when they get something they wanted!
i really hope you all have a very merry christmas and a blessed new year...
don't forget the best part of christmas...jesus was born...happy birthday jesus!
