happy happy birthday to my sweet husband!

i love him so much...he is my best friend and has been since i was 15!

he is supportive and helpful and i'm looking forward to celebrating his 52nd birthday tomorrow with him and the kids...

vets flea market yesterday...

yeah, the weather held up for us yesterday!

it got a little scary for a bit, with some raindrops which made me scurry around and pack up some smalls and move the fabric covered chairs under the tarp, but the sun peeked through after that...

and, there were a ton of people there yesterday...i shared a booth with karen, a new friend from long beach...she has great bottles, with shells...and, it was fun to get to know her.

we did pretty good...the crowd was a bit different than the normal crowd...

my sweet mom made the trek out...i had to wheel her around in her new little pink walker that has a seat when she got tired, but it was great to have her and see her out/about enjoying the people and fresh air...

christilynn came by and took my mom up/down an aisle too!

the only sad thing, was that i got one thing stolen, a little vintage pedistal...but i guess they needed it more than i did...i truly don't understand why people take things that don't belong to them...i don't think i will ever understand that...

vet's flea market this sunday...

if you have not gone to the vets flea market in long beach, you just have to go!  i think it's one of the best flea markets around...
of course, there's rose bowl, but you can find some great treasures...
let's face it...a lot of the great dealers sell at all the local flea markets anyways...rose bowl, ivc and vets...some even travel out to ventura {which i want to sell at this spring too}...

i will be selling at vets this sunday and the weather is supposed to be perfect for flea marketing...

bring your hat, your cart and sunscreen and do some shopping!

valentines day at the rose bowl flea market...

my husband knows whtat one of my favorite things to do is go junking...so, he took me to the rose bowl flea market yesterday...after he brought me the paper and my coffee in bed!  he was super tired from working on our daughter's car all day saturday, but we got up and went junking in pasadena...yeah!

we got some treasures which i will share some of them with you on sunday at vets...

and, for my other two sweethearts...stacey and shannan...they spent the day together...

i hope you all had a loving valentine's day...

thank you for your thoughts and prayers...

thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers...christilynn just called me from her hospital bed {9:23 p.m.} to let me know that the surgery was a success and the docs got all the cancer/tumors...she is clean...and, the best part is that she does not have to do chemo...praise god! she might even be able to go home tomorrow, depending on how she feels...

she has four weeks of recovery, but if you know christilynn like it do, she will be painting something in two...

thank you jesus...

super cute stool...darling vintage pink...the top opens for a little storage..

the vintage picnic basket is actually a cooler...a great treasure!

this vintage patio set is a great find...it's in excellent shape and super heavy...perfect for the spring months to come...

i love this vintage sailor boy...i picked it up years ago at an antique mall in arizona...i saw one at the queen mary a few years back for a few thousand...i guess they used to be souvenirs for cruise ships back in the day...a little treasure...
