my sister n law and i have a tradition...we take each other to lunch on our birthdays...THE DAY! there have been those rare occassions that we can't be with each other on THE DAY, but over the years that's not the norm...
we went to a bible study together in the morning and then off to fashion island for some lunch and a little shopping...
cheryl has not only been my sister n law for over twenty years, she has been a special friend, a great aunt to my kids and a very wonderful and suportive sister n law to my husband.

Thanks for visiting my blog. To answer your question reference the lampshade frames, I bought them last year at an antique store in Riverside, Ca, called Old Faded Glory. There were 6 for sale and I bought them all! I currently have listed in my shop, in an antique store in Las Vegas, NV, called "Not Just Antiques Mart" I did a post on my blog about the space I have there.
